Hello,

I've built a mash tun in a picnic cooler as per these instructions:
but using only Stainless Steel parts. Some of the parts (maybe the hose clips) seem to have grease or lubricant that can be seen on tfloating in the water. I've washed the whole thing with a solution of vinegar and also with dishwashing soap. However, when I fill in the cooler with water I can still see some grease floating. Any suggestion on how to clean it before using it? I don't wan't to "spice" my beer with oil and grease. :)

Many thanks,

Nuno

Dissolve in some Acetone, yes!

Or boil in some PBW or washing soda. I would boil that whole braid before use!
