I am by far still a noob to this hobby so this is just a few questions about IPA recipes.

So I know IPA's are very popular right now but I have never been a huge fan. Brewers seem to be trying to one-up the other by adding more hops, getting more aroma, more bitterness, higher ABV, etc. The stronger they get the less I like them, but I do like some of them.

My ask: I am looking for a mild IPA. I do not want something super bitter that tastes like eating a flower bouquet. I am afraid that I will brew something that I won't like.

Can someone suggest a mild IPA extract recipe? Seen many recipes that say mild but don't know enough to tell the difference.

It might be easier to suggest a recipe if you can list a commercial IPA that you do like. That would at least open the door to similar hop profiles, IBU's, and even clone recipes.

Can you name some commercial IPA's you liked? Or that you didn't like for specific reason(s)? Might help narrow what you mean by "too bitter" or "too strong," what kind of hop/malt balance you like, what hop varieties you like, etc.

EDIT: post above beat my two-finger typing skillz

Morebeer obsession IPA. No bitter all hop flavor.

This recipe, even if it's an APA, will give you a really nice hop flavor, would consider it high for an APA but not an IPA hop bomb...
