Making an American ale.
5 lbs Marris Otter
3 lbs Vienna malt
2 lbs Munich Malt
1 lb crystal 40

I typically hop with cascade and centennial.

I have Magnum, simcoe, citra, warrior, centennial, Amarillo a little bit of German tett and saaz.

Any suggestions on hop schedule

I say bitter with warrior or magnum and save those wonderfull Amarillo hops for aroma.
I would finish with Amarillo and Citra but go easy on the Amarillo

That grain bill looks like it would produce something awesomely malty and really multi-dimensional. If it were me, I'd keep the hops at a minimum - maybe a tiny bit of teh Magnum at 60 and then a small 15 minute addition of either the Tett or Saaz.

I would say get about 20-25 IBUs from some Tettnanger and then go BIG at 15,10,5,0 with Citra and or Amarillo to bring it to 60-65IBUs. Wicked

Kinda what I was thinking. Why bitter with the tasties.

Wondering if it makes sense to FWH with simcoe, Amarillo or citra.

I had to laugh at your American Ale grain bill filled with English and German malt. Oh, the irony. I would use some magnum at 60, and then late hop with Amarillo and Simcoe. I would have to call it something like William the Conqueror's American Expedition.

Melting pot man, melting pot.
