Help me. Question about training.

Hey guys! Today and tomorrow I will be training my hops and I need help with which shoots to pick.

Should I use some of the really long ones, like the ones in the bottom right or should I use the smaller ones near the crown? Also I have not pruned at all and am wondering what to prune if you guys could help out.

Hop variety/varieties?

I think train the smaller ones. Looks like the leaves are more spread out with the longer. You want more leaves. I'd also guess that the ones closer to the crown will train a little more under control.
