Fellas,
Being the type of guy that I am, I bought a bunch of stuff from a brew store before researching anything...obvious total rookie mistake. However, instead of letting it sit and gather dust, tell me what I could make with what I have lying around. Here is what I've got...would love to hear your suggestions. And note, I love any beer really, so I don't really have a particular style I am going for.
3.3 lbs of Cooper's Light
3.3 lbs of Cooper's Amber
Safale US-05 dry ale yeast (pink/red packet)
Wyeast 1187 Ringwood Ale
Whitelabs Hefeweizen Ale Yeast WLP300
10oz of Cascade whole hops (6% AAU)
10oz of US Fuggle whole hops (4.5% AAU)
10oz of Newport (12% AAU)
10oz of Centennial (10% AAU)
6lbs Briess Bavarian Wheat DME
I bought the wheat DME and WLP300 with the thought of doing a Hefewiezen, but most of the recipes I found call for different DMEs, LMEs, Yeast and Hops. Any good recipe that would help me make a 5 gallon batch would be greatly appreciated. Plan to brew it on Monday.
