Just kegged my wheat and I have a leak from the faucet. Not knowing what I'm doing I'm asking for help. I tried to force carb for a few minutes and left the gas off overnight. I set the gas to about 10 psi this morning and found a slow leak from the faucet, and the beer is not carb'd. Any idea where to start? Should I use thread tape on the faucet?

check orings on liquid post and liquid dip tube.
you mean leaking gas? or beer?
 
I'm guessing the leak is at the beer shank, yes?

Does your beer line connect directly to the threaded beer shank that your faucet is screwed onto?
Do you have a beer washer between the swivel nut and the end of the shank?

If you are using a swivel nut, realize that there is a big hole right through the middle of it when considering if taping the threads will stop leaks...

I may have found it after my initial panic and post. I turned off the gas, removed the out line, and beer spewed out. I then vented the keg, removed and tightened the posts, and found no leak at that point. I think that I may be good now. I gave it 30 psi and rolled it for 10 mins, reattached the line, and still no leak so I think I'm good.
Is my beer still ok? What is the recommended pressure in a 39 degree fridge?
 
He's alluding to the fact that there is a real potential for overcarbonationg at that pressure. If a quick carb is desired, a safer method would be to set the reg to 10-12 PSI and commence to shaking/rolling. That way, no matter how much agitation you give it, it will never overcarbonate.
 
You probably want to let it sit overnight (on your serving pressure). Vent it again tomorrow AM, and see where you stand as far as carbonation goes.
