Hi everyone. I'm new to this and made a big cock up when trying to get a starting spec grav. I've accidentally knocked it up to 1060 by dropping a bag of sugar into my cider. Should I ditch it or is it worth fermenting and bottling? Really cheesed of as the apples were lovely!

It will be fine. Ferment away. If it goes completely dry it will be around 7.8ish abv.

No reason to toss it. It might be a little hoochy tasting from the sugar but if you don't like that you can age it out.
