thanks in advance

Keep reading this site, read this site, and find the closest LHBS (Local Home Brew Store). Oh yeah, and taste a lot of beer. :D

the second kit down, the intermediate kit, would be your best for starting. that is how i started 2 weeks ago. but I also added 2 extra carboys, and 2 extra fermenters, I did a lot of reading before hand to. I read the whole, "brewmasters bible" A very good book. And then off that same page you need a recipe kit, you need atleast 48 12oz bottles (2 cases of 12oz), you need at minimun a 5 gallon boiling pot, walmart has stainless steel 5 gallon pots for $43. So it is good. and buy an auto syphon, http://www.midwestsupplies.com/products/equip/tubing.asp 6 up from the bottom on that page. i may have missed something but i dont think. everyone will correct me if i did.

There are several place to get a package deal. My favorite is morebeer. You can get everything you need to start brewing from them in one package. After you get your stuff do not be afraid to ask questions here. There are many experienced brewers here willing to help you out.

Now when you have your first batch bottled, you must send me half of them for evaluation :D

so as of now im thinking this is good....second one on this page http://www.midwestsupplies.com/products/equipkit.asp

6 from bottom on this page for autosyphon http://www.midwestsupplies.com/products/equip/tubing.asp

50- 12 ounce glass bottles

5 gallon stainless steel brewing pot

and im thinking to start with a raspberry red ale with white lab california ale yeast.

if anyone thinks i should add to this let me know also is this ale going to be any harder to do than another would. if so whats a good starting brew?

don't overlook the possibility of a local hbs. i didn't realize there was one years ago until did a google search. low and behold there were several - none of which i remember seeing any advertisements for. why local? well i hate paying shipping when i can buy local. additionally a local hbs is also a plethora of needed advice and guidence. if no locals - then northernbrewer.com is highly recommended.

what will you need...besides everything ....muhahahahahah i recommend you start with this kit:
