There are a couple of truths in life about being a homebrewer:
  • We all have at least one thing in common
  • Generally, we all get along
  • Nobody can brew without buying ingredients
On this last point, I'm reaching out to the community for some help. I can't buy ingredients and therefore can't brew because I have NO INCOME. I need a job and haven't been able to find one in a number of months. Brewing is a hobby, IT is my career.

If you can help me expand my network so that I can find a new opportunity, or know of an opportunity, I would be most appreciative. I'm looking to work on the north side of Houston, but I'm open to relocation to Colorado, Utah or Idaho.

Thanks in advance

If you're willing to drive downtown you could try JPMorgan Chase, their investment bank side has a sizable IT group in Houston.

I have taken the bus downtown for several years. It's not a problem. I checked those roles and others as well as updating my information on the JP Morgan recruitment site.

Thanks,
Mel
