Greetings all. I am a new brewer in the western Chicago 'burbs. Been lurking here and other forums for sometime. Just wanted to say "Thanks" for all the useful information here. It has helped a lot!

Anyway, I finally bit the bullet about a month ago and started purchasing my brew gear. Currently, I have an American Amber Ale in secondary and I am going to be brewing an American Wheat this weekend. I already have plans for a pumpkin ale and a cider to be started in the next couple weeks.

I must say, the wait is the hardest part!

Later,
Aaron

Seems like more and more Chicagoland guys all the time!!

Where in the burbs are ya?

Welcome!

Thanks for the suggestion david_42. I will definitely keep an eye out for them my next grocery trip. That sounds like that would make experimenting easy.

rdwj, I am over in Montgomery. Looks like we are almost neighbors!

Cool - there are a few of us, at least, in the general area
