I'm a new brewer. I'll be starting my first brew in a couple of days - DIY kit from Cooper's. Thought do one or two this way before I try to dive in to all-grain. Any advice to a newbie is appreciated. Cheers!

Welcome to the group, from CO. I would focus on good fermentation before going to all grain. Extract or Partial Mash beer that is fermented with a proper yeast pitch and proper temperature control will IMO have better results that All Grain without good fermentation protocol.

Yeah, I've been doing a lot of research-books, forums, videos, etc.-and the fermentation process is what I'm most concerned about. Specifically the temp control aspect. It seems to me that it has to be exactly precise at all times. It kinda stresses me out. I realize it's a crucial aspect, but should I be sweating this bad?

Welcome from another newbie brewer! Like Cyclman said, I would concentrate on getting good at extract or partial mash before moving to all grain. That's my plan, at least. I just bottled my first Extract, and plan on doing a brew day on my second as soon as my new outdoor propane burner arrives!

Welcome to the addiction.
