Hello everyone! New here and I just made my first batch yesterday. Fingers crossed that it all comes at good. :) I already have a black IPA waiting for my primary to be free. I have to say thanks to all of those that have made this forum such a useful resource. It seems that all of my questions have led me to answers found here. :mug:

Welcome to the forum from sunny Florida! This forum is an awesome resource and like Elko said ask away if you have any questions.

We only have one on Vancouver. https://www.baderbrewing.com
Since it's the only one they are pretty expensive. Didn't know there was one in Longview. Moving up that way next year so that's good to know. Steinbarts in Portland is a good place but a long ways for you.

Welcome from a bit north of ya!

The LHBS in Longview is call Hop-n-Grape 924 15th Ave, Longview, WA 98632 - Been there, not a bad place...

Drive up north to The Beer Essentials for a great selection. They're right off of I5 at Exit 127 in Tacoma. Try and remember to call first though, they have some strange hours - only open Tuesday - Saturday and a crap shoot around the holidays...

Thanks for the info atoughram. I've been to The Beer Essentials a couple of times. They seem to be well stocked and friendly. Hop-n-Grape is a little closer so I'll definitely be checking them out.

I've also been to Rocky Top in Olympia. They seemed to be very limited compared to The Beer Essentials.
