Hello from the Netherlands

Greetings fellow brewers - I've been reading this forum for a few days now and am really impressed by the collective wisdom and enthusiasm.

I live in the picturesque town of Delft (40 miles SW from Amsterdam) which apparently had 200 breweries at the beginning of the 16th century! Not bad for a town which even now has a population of only about 100,000. Regrettably, there are currently no commercial brewers.

I started my first brew three weeks ago and intend to bottle tomorrow. It's supposed to be a Belgian Tripel, but we shall see...

Anyway, hello again and, in the words of AC/DC, for those about to brew..I salute you....

I was in Delft back in May. Fooking beautiful place. Bit of a train ride for ya, but there's a homebrew store in Almere - Brouwmarkt.
