Just purchased a starter kit for my son for Christmas.I am excited as this will be another father and son project.(Tired of working on jeeps togeather). So now we are reading and gathering equipment.I just purchased a carboy for $13.00 at and antiques place, real heavy...and will be doing a search for a keg to convert to a brew pot.I have a question that I will go now and post a new thread.

Welcome to the forums! I grew up in Grantville, folks still live out that way.

Good luck. Once you get a few beers underway, maybe we can do a brewswap since I come up that way every other month or so.

Welcome to HBT. This is the perfect hobby for 2 folks. The brew day goes much smoother with someone helping out. Plus you will have to brew twice as much. :rockin:
