My name is Al (aka Blue) and I have been reading these forums for quite some time even though this is my first post.
I have been a homebrewer for a almost two years. I started out using an after Christmas discounted Mr Beer kit, then was blessed by a buddy with his basic homebrew kit. I added the hardware that was missing and started extract brewing 5 gallon bacthes at the beginning of 2011. A few months later I put together a mash tun and jumped in to the world of all grain. Even though I have made the leap into AG, I still do extract recipes from time to time. At the end of this summer, I turned my side-by-side basment fridge into a 2-tap kegorator. I have 4 corny kegs that I rotate though.
I am also big into smoking and curing meats and barbecue. Hoping some day to start competing.
I just want to thank everyone here for the great platform to talk beer and all the info that I have taking over the past year from you.
