Stuck in the house in this awful weather and thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself. I love beer and I am new to homebrewing. I have only done 1 gallon kits so far, but I am shooting to do my first 5 gallon by myself in the summer...I have to get all the equipment and that mess is expensive! Brewing my first 5 gallon batch with a buddy on 2/15!

Welcome to HBT!

One gallon batches are great. I brew smaller batches (usually 2.5g) and enjoy the variety. Just a warning...this is an addicting hobby! :D

PS: Where are you in GA?

Welcome to HBT and the addiction...you've come to the right place!! You guys can do it! I bought my complete kit from Midwest Supplies, but now I found a GREAT LHBS if you're anywhere near the Buford area. Speaking of which...this is too weird...I'm also in snow covered GA!! I'm up in Gainesville myself.
