Hello everyone. I've been working in the USA for the past few months, and while I was out there I got to trying the various brewpub IPAs that were available. They were superb - but when I got home I couldn't find anything half as good here in the UK. It seems UK IPAs are weaker and much less hoppy than North American IPAs. They're OK, more or less, but having tried better beer it's hard to go back
A friend got me Charlie Papazian's book and suggested I try making my own, which is why I'm here. As I type this, my fermenter is being sanitised for the first time. I suspect I may have some questions as the brewing process unfolds, so help for a newbie would be greatly appreciated...
