Hello everyone,
I'm from the very southeast corner of PA, near Oxford. I've been home brewing on and off for a couple of years. Both wine and Beer. Havent been overly successful but only had one miserable failure.
Over the last year I've decided to kick it up a notch and made several wine kits and a couple reasonable wheat beers from the same True Brew kits.
I'm here to learn a bit more because I want to step it up yet another notch. I'm finding I just cant get that quality out of wine kits, but then again I have pricey taste for wine. I prefer dry reds, and Barolos or other old world stuff.
I have a hunch that at some point you just cant match making it from grapes, so I'm planning on getting about a 15-20 gallon setup and I have a source for quality grapes.
I'd like to refine some beers to do the same.
Look forward to learning from all of you
