Well, today's the day. 21 years ago I was born, and now my hobby is legal.

Been lurking around here quite a bit for the past few months, picking up information, adjusting techniques, and religously checking the classifieds section for kegging equipment.

So far, I've got 3 AG's under my belt, one PM, some hard cider (not EdWorts), and god knows how many extract batches:

Primary: Fat Tire Clone - they don't sell it out here, and I miss it, so I made it

Conditioning in Keg: SMaSH - 10lbs 2 row pale and 1oz total Chinooks

Past brews:
American Wheat: my own all grain recipie, left a little to desire, but good overall
Kolsch: My one and only partial mash, absolutely delicious, my own recipie too!
888RIS: Brewed it earlier than everyone else... but still have two bombers floating around
Coopers Bitter: Beer in a can... I missed austrailia and thought it might be a good idea
IIPA: A stone ruination clone... killed the last bottle after about 6 months aging, and now I'm sad they were drank so fast
Robust Stout: First beer, Kit beer, delicious beer

Thats not even taking into account all the beer I used to brew for my dad. He got a Mr. Beer for x-mas back when I was in JR High. He was too lazy/busy to use it, so I brewed for him. I thought of it as one big chemistry set. Who'da thought it would manifest itself into the obsession I have now?

As a side note, for my first trip to the liquor store I picked up these four gems:
Framboise Lambic - delicious
Saison - not a fan
Stone Brewing RIS - I personally believe the 888 is better
Stone IPA - After the first three (four if you count the 888 used in comparison), I wasn't fit to go after that one :drunk:

But, thats my story. Now I'm gonna go back to being a poor college kid for a while :mug:

Welcome and happy birthday!

Sounds like you've made some great beers -- keep up the good work!

wish i would have been smart enough to brew before i turned 21. I just never thought of it i guess.
