Hello from Pittsburgh

Hey everybody. I've been lurking around here for awhile now but this is my first post.

I'm relatively new to brewing. I've only brewed 6 extract batches so far. The first 4 weren't complete disasters but weren't very good either. The fifth was a lot better than the previous brews. The 6th is currently fermenting. It's a Pliny clone and it smells amazing.

Anyways, I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of dumb questions so thank you in advance!

No such thing as dumb questions around here. A lot of people have different methods of solving things and it may just end up helping in the long run. Welcome to the group! Good luck on the Pliny clone!

Welcome. I'm from Blairsville PA (45 miles east of Pittsburgh on Rt 22) but I have lived in California for more than 25 years now. I'm sure that western PA water will make some great beers!

Welcome! Ask away, when I first started getting serious into homebrewing, I learned a lot on here by asking "stupid" questions and a tons more just by lurking on the forums. You'll find there a tons of helpful people on here to help you along the way.

By the way I'm from Pittsburgh too. I live near the airport. Nice to have another guy from the 'burgh on here!
