I've been brewing for about ten years now as often as I can find time. I've lurked everywhere and have really learned a lot from this site! I'm fortunate that my wife both really likes good beer and is also very supportive of my hobby. I've been researching on going electric in my basement and am working to finally make that a reality. I'm amazed at the electrical and engineering knowledge of so many members here.

Thanks so much for great site!

James

Hey there from Hyde Park! We are also going electric. It has been a huge learning curve. What size batches are you going to be brewing?

Hi! I'm planning on continuing with my usual 10 gallon batches. I've got a ways to go on the conversion from the outdoor/propane setup to basement electric. Doing too much reading!

I was just reading that you're working on opening a place. That's awesome. I'll keep an eye out for it.

We understand about the learning curve with going electric. It makes me thankful that my partner can understand those things.
