Hello from Nova Scotia

I'm a full-on newb at this homebrewing stuff, but I'm in love already.

I've been wanting to try brewing my own beer for years, but just never got around to doing it. This year my ever loving wife gave me all the gear to get started for my birthday. Now I can't be stopped.

I have a batch of red ale in primary fermentation, and I'm planning to make up some of Joe's Ancient Orange Mead tomorrow.

I'm off and running now, thanks to some wonderful tips and advice found here.

I live in Greenhill. It's about halfway between Windsor and Mount Uniacke. It's pretty much the ass end of nowhere.
