Hey everyone. Had a few brew days.

Anyone growing hops in the Woodstock / Canton, GA area?

I have several hills of Nugget and Magnum going that were transplanted in the spring of 2014. Last year they did not flower which was expected. I don't expect a lot this year either as I was wanting the plants to establish a good root system.

Cartersville here. I have a second-year Cascade plant that is slowly turning the privacy fence behind my apartment into a mini-Wrigley Field outfield wall. I planted a five-inch hunk of rhizome in a pot last April, and its roots have long since slipped the surly bonds of said pot into the ground below. It's like a little apartment tower for bugs and spiders.

I like the 'Green Monster' at Wrigley Field until they put lights on it. We used to skip school and catch the train down to the afternoon games.

I grew up in Ellijay. Part of me wishes I was back in the south to grow hops, seems easier to grow them there then here in arizona.
