Have seriously been home brewing for almost a year now, dabbled with it off and on for a couple years prior to that. Currently have the following going:

5gal batch of Bourbon Barrel Stout in bottles conditioning (added bourbon and oak to sec.)
5gal batch of Dunkleweizen in bottles conditioning
5gal batch of Mudslide Chocolate Milk Stout in secondary
5gal batch of Belgian White in primary (added navel oranges and orange peel to boil, will add coriander and orange peel prior to bottling)

3gal Blackberry Wine in bottles currently being devoured by the wife, mother in law, and every other female in range.:)

This summer is looking like a good one!

Welcome this is a good site if your gonna brew your own beverages---where you at in Michigan ? I'm in the Flint area and don't know anybody else that brews but all my neighbors and friends sure ain't shy about draining the kegs around here--

Hahaha, I know the feeling. I am in Holly, just South of you. I actually work in the Grand Blanc area. My neighbor and I both brew often. Slightly addicted. lol:mug:

Utohh!! I'm right in Burton--park at Rocky's and if you yell load enough I'd probably hear you---

Awesome! I think my wife's dad is from Holly and her grandparents lived in Fenton. She lived there when she was young.

They always mention Mt. Holly when we drive past it on visits to her relatives down there.

Fenton is a nice area, Holly is really just a small town but has a nice downtown area with a couple great pubs and a new brewery going in.

Mt Holly is a big attraction in the winter months if you are a skier/snowboarder. I'm not however, I would much rather be out on my boat fishing with a couple growlers of my homebrew in the cooler!!!
