I just recieved the go-ahead fromt my boss (a.k.a. my wife) to start homebrewing.

I'm still searching for the pefect beer..closest I've come comercially is Bit Berger--I got addicted to it while in Tokyo..go figure eh ?

I'm looking foreward to making a beer that..........Makes the coulds part, and light shines down from heaven and angels sing as you take a sip.

I'm gonna need alotta help me thinks................:drunk: ;)

welcome, before you know it, you just kinda sorta want to do this...then you realize you spend time reading, and figuring out how to make your setup better, and also when that first batch is done fermenting....this hobby will consume you. I can already tell

Welcome! Time to get brewing. What kind of equipment are you using?

Like I said, I'm a "virgin"...........I don't even have any equipment !!
I guess I'm looking for a kit I can "grow into" and not something I'll end up replacing low-end stuff with better parts as I get further into it.

I dont know if you have any good suppliers near you.....either way be sure to check out northernbrewer.com and midwestsupplies.com. Theyre both great suppliers and have starter kits available. I recommend buying the one with the glass carboys.

Irish Hills = MIS. What a great place. If I didnt work north of Detroit that would be a great place to live. Welcome aboard.

Welcome. I was born in Midland, and grew up around Arcadia, Cadillac. But I have called Texas home for the last 25 years. No questions are too tough or off the wall here.
