I recently became a beekeeper. In February I attended Bee College through the University of Florida. One of the classes I attended was making Mead. It was infact my favorite class. I came home and told my husband all about it.

Many years ago 15 to be exact we made Mango wine. The Mead class brought back a lot of memories. My husband and I had know idea what we were doing but we ended up bottling 21 bottles of pretty good mango wine.

I have had a lot of mangos this year and with the bee hives producing honey I thought it was time to start making wine again and to try making some mead.

Look forward to learning from all of you. In the process of gathering equipment and reading and feeling a little overwelmed.
