anybody else here from brevard?

Greetings from waaay up here in North Brevard...a dark void where there's not a tap o' craft brew to be found.

I drove an hour to your neck of the woods last night for dinner and some good beer. (Coasters).

you should check out World of Beers in Viera. I think there is also a couple of nice beer places in cocoa, Vintage something orother

Here from beachside ... almost next door to Coasters :)

Live in Palm Bay and work in Melbourne. I swung by the World of Beers at the Avenues a few weeks ago, a bit crowded for my liking. I'll wait till the buzz dies down some.

If any of y'all didn't know, the best craft beer selection I've found is Downtown Produce off of Ellis.

Downtown's selection is quite nice. Sunseed Co-op in Cape Canaveral has a great selection as well...plus a good variety of homebrew ingredients.

World of Beer is probably the closest variety of taps to Titusville at ~40 minute drive. Great place but it is too hard to find a place to sit. I don't know how but the seating arrangement could use a tweak. The servers have to take a test on beer to get hired. More places should do that.

I've been to Vintage 56 (I think it's called) in Cocoa. Tasty flat bread pizza and a small but decent craft selection. If I recall, they were all bottled and not draught.

world of beers is worth going only durring the week, otherwise it is crazy busy. Downtown Produce is wonderful! and so is Sunseed. has anybody been to the Broken Barrel?

Yes! I was there opening night but haven't been back since even though I live right around the corner. I went to go see a friends band play and kind of had written of local bars for good beer at that point. I walked in and saw Old Rasputin on tap, farkin heaven! Shoot me a pm if any one plans a trip down here to give it a try.

I've been to Broken Barrel once so far. I had the pulled rib sammich which was a winner. I saw in the paper that they even make a frambois ice cream float. :D

I went yesterday and checked it out. Definitely plan to get there as early as possible. At 3:30 there were plenty of tables available. By 5:30 it was standing room only.
