Well, I have just thrown my twenty bucks in to be part of this forum. First thing I did was to add a avatar, change my sig, and change my username: I was Blues, Booze and Barbecues. Sorry for the name change but I registered one night a coupla years back or so and, I am sorry, but I was under the influence at the time. I didn't take into account the length of the darn thing (that's what SHE said !!!)
So, I am really re-introducing myself. I really doubt my seven or eight posts have left a lasting impression anyway.
I am an old extract brewer but haven't brewed for ten years or so. Probably have done 30 or 40 five gallon batches. I am putting my brew rig together and am going all grain with the help of my two sons.
Been doing some homework on this forum in the last coupla days and have learned what an EAC is. Learned what RDWHAHB means (think I got that right), I learned I can say FOAD to people when I feel like being an EAC.
Love this forum so far, a real bunch of characters...Think I might fit in.
Lots to learn. I was brewing way before there was a thing called the internet so I will be delighted to share with others as I do not know anyone that brews (in person). Everything I learned was on the phone with the guy at the brew store.
I better quit now before I start rambling on and on and lose my audience.
Mike...
