Hi everyone My name is Mike from Geneva Illinois, I took a few year break from homebrewing beer, I really got involved in winemaking and motorcycles pretty heavily, obviously 2 seperate activities, but with my last 2 batches of wine turning out poorly 1 was very bitter and the other was was refermenting in the bottle resulting in carbonated wine. I think I am going to try homebrewing again. looking forward to checking out the the board.

Welcome, quite a few of us from the western burbs. You should check out the local homebrew club Urban Knaves of Grain.

The Brewer's Coop isn't too far from you either. But The Homebrew Store is probably closer.
