It's amazing to find such a great source of knowledge in one place. I've brewed by first all grain batch of beer (Vanilla Porter) and have it in secondary stage of fermentation (left it in the same container as primary). So far so good; hope to have it ready by Christmas, I'll post the detail info on another thread for comment soon.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here, thanks for sharing your collective knowledge and experience.

I spend a fair amount of time out that way, especially since my MIL bought a house in Hammondsport. My wife and I try and get out there at least 2-3x a year to hit up the wineries (mostly those on Keuka and Seneca Lake). Noticing a few more breweries popping up in the area, as well (as well as Finger Lakes Distilling, which is exceptional).
