Hi

My name is Rick, and I'm a British ex-pat living in rural Virginia.

I recently came across a vintage 3-pull British beer engine in a rust-and-dust store here, and know nothing about it, except what it says on it.

I came here looking for info on it but can't determine quite where or in which forum to post details.

It has 3 pulls with porcelain sleeves on a mahogany top, the sleeves secured by hollow heavily-tarnished brass spheres with integral screw threads to screw onto the handle rods. The pump-handle hinges are stamped "Mason's Patent STANPAT Ball Joint", and the cylinders are Gaskell & Chambers "Dalex".

The mahogany top has a brass label that reads, "Sollory & Son / Barfitters / Nottingham" but I can find no reference to Sollory online except as a plumber in the 19th century.

The 3 brass taps on the front have trefoil handles and two of them have detachable nozzles.

It's clearly old and I'd like to find out about it, but where?

If anyone knows anything at all about it, I would appreciate hearing from you.

I have attached some photos of it.

Thanks!

Rick
