Just started brewing 1 Mar, started with brewhouse kits which are around $35, so now started the coopers extract kits cause they were on for $11.99, I'm addicted please help, lol. This is a great site as I've learned everything from the beginners forum, my aim is to make cheap good beer.

Welcome. Good and cheap ...........tough bill but we do are best.- Jeff

Brew for a while to get addicted to the good beer and you'll worry less about it being cheap.

Ah, who am I kidding.. you'll take to hiding your credit card and having to hide things from the wife such as keggles, kegs draft systems, 3 tier stands, conicals etc. :D

It makes it easier to enjoy good beer, but don't call good beer cheap.

Welcome to HBT

i've spent tons of money on homebrew supllies in the last while starting up. but i'm still saving money, and so are my friends and family. Its amazing how bad we are taxed here in Canada on beer and spirits.. 10$ 6pack for low end beer. stella was my beer of choice before homebrewing and it cost 13$/6pack. and i don't even drink everyday. now that im producing my own and i see just how bad taxes are.. i would never turn back again.. our gov are crooks!!!
im not to worried about the cost of equipment, judging by the adds in craigslist this is a growing hobby. could resell you stuff no prob!! especially corny kegs!!!
