Hello from Danbury, CT

Greetings, everyone! My name is Alfred and I've been lurking on this forum for a while, but I thought I should drop in and say hello. I started brewing earlier this year after getting a Mr. Beer kit for Christmas, and after 5 batches I finally moved on to a 5 gallon kit from Midwest Supplies. I just brewed my first batch today, the Liberty Cream Ale(also from Midwest). Brew day went really well! It took a little longer to cool the wort than I was expecting(I have a copper wort chiller), but other than that everything went smoothly. I've already found a ton of useful information through this forum, and I'm sure I'll get a lot more. Have a great weekend, everyone! Cheers!

Thanks, Sammy! I attended their Extract brewing class last month. It's a great store. Hopefully I can brew some of their clone kits soon. They have a Smuttynose Finestkind IPA clone that I really want to try!
