Hello everyone~

I've been lurking around the forum for the past few weeks and have been reading, reading and reading during that time. I have the Palmer book and have spent a lot of time ingesting the info in that book, along with info available here on the forum.

I started a 5 gallon Cream Ale kit a few weeks ago. I'm days away from bottling some and kegging the rest. I just checked the gravity last night and it's sitting at 1.010 and has been stable for a few days. And yes, it tastes pretty good at 69 degrees right out of the carboy. :)

Yeah, I already collected (drank) a bunch of Sam Adams bottles for the cause. It was rough, but someone had to do it..

I already purchased a Craigslist refrigerator and Keg Connection parts to make my Kegerator in the next few days.

I have been collecting the things needed to do an All Grain brew next. I went to Home Depot last night and have all the parts to put together my mash tun using an existing 48 quart cooler that's been in the attic for years. It finally gets put to good use. I still need to make my wort chiller which will involve another trip to Home Depot for the copper tubing and connection pieces.

Anyway, I'm super excited about this hobby and look forward to being a regular here on the forum. I hope you guys don't mind some simple questions from a newbie every now and then.

Regards, Joe
