Hello from Aiken, SC!

Hello everyone! I am a long time lurker here on HBT, but just created an account to be able to post.

I have been home brewing for about 3 years now, and just started doing all grain brews. I am also currently working on a Keezer and ferm chamber with RaspberryPints and BrewPi setups. I hope to have this completed in a few weekends, and of course pictures will follow.

Anyways, that's about it for me!

Hey Gibberoni, I'm just south of you in Augusta. How long have you been in the area? I just moved here in January and have nudged ... or shouldered my way into the local homebrewing community, and I'm surprised at how active it is.

Check out Augusta Homebrewers Association on FB if you're looking for fellow Homebrewers. I'm not an actual member of the club, just enjoy having friends surrounding the hobby, so it's been a good resource to get plugged in for me.

Also, Poplar Creek Brewing just opened here in Augusta, great LHBS if you don't have one near by. I'm just happy to have one in less than a 90 mile radius.

Thanks for the welcome. I moved to Aiken just this June. I lived in both Louisville (2yrs) and Atlanta (20yrs) before this, and I was spoiled with homebrewing in Atlanta. Lots of options.

I am very much in need to getting with the community here, as I am not from such a small town and it was a pretty drastic change for me.

Ha I hear yah. Well check out their FB page, they're having a get together on Nov 1st.

Also, Beverage outlet is a liquor store on this side of Augusta that has a fantastic beer selection. It's not as robust as what you can find in Atlanta, but it's the best one I've found in the area, and believe me I've searched. You'd have to call them, but I know they have another store in North Augusta which would probably be closer for you.
