Hey guys, been cruising this forum for the past hour or so and I gotta say, this is exactly the type of place I need to be a part of. Everyone in here seems to know there stuff so well with the brewing, yet they all seem really cool and humble about it.
As for me, I will be here quite a bit... I am brand new to this stuff and am learning more every day.
I received a starter kit from my folks for Christmas and am awaiting the fermentation of my first brew. 100% dumbed down and simple, a Cooper's Stout Kit that they picked up for me to try at. I just followed the directions and let her bubble. Anyhow, even just this first batch taught me lots about what not to do and what to do to make things easier. I can't wait to try a next batch already!.
A little about my personal life... I am 27 and was a US Marine from 2001-2005. Prior to that, I worked as a Paramedic in my home town. I am currently a college student majoring in Communications with a minor in Political Sciences. I play guitar for a local Psychobilly band and love anything to do with music.
Anyhow, be talking to you guys,
-Johnny
