Just moved from San Diego in to the middle of nowhere. There's no craft beer for miles, so I figured its time to start brewing.

My wife and I lived in Joshua Tree for a bit. Are you in the Marines? There weren't any home-brew shops anywhere near there when I was there so good luck. Welcome

I know what you mean. My wife and lived there for a while and I worked on base as a civilian contractor. I drank a lot of Miller. I'm new to the forum and the hobby, myself. I look forward to the learning process.

Things haven't changed, the closest homebrew store I can find is MoreBeer in Riverside. I'll be mail-ordering a lot I suppose.

There are a few craft beer breweries in the Palm Springs/Indio area. But More beer is the best HBS in the IE.
