I'm heading to Pittsburgh the last week of July (27 - 30) and *should* have 2 or 3 evenings to myself to go exploring. After working all day with lawyers I'm sure that brewery visits will be just what the doctor ordered!

I'll be writing them up for our blog (http://www.twobrewdogs.com, but more importantly I want to enjoy them. I'm not a hophead, like malty/grainy beers and Belgians. Fun places, stunning tap rooms, etc. all considered too.

While I was born in Pittsburgh back in the dark ages, I've only been back for the occasional day trip. I'll be staying at the Omni William Penn, so Uber will be my friend!

Recommendations? Thanks.

Looks cool and I like Belgians (and some sours...). Will try for sure. No other Pittsburgians on board?

Draai Laag was indeed pretty cool. I really liked Relic, the beer they made from the yeasts obtained by scraping an old piece of furniture. Yuk...I mean Yum!!!!

I also really liked Grist House. Some good stuff there and just a couple of blocks away from Draai Laag.

I visited a couple of others too.... details on the blog.
