MY fantasy team just pulled a new york jets :D Last night i had Adrian Peterson left on my team and falls city fumblers has rueben randle left. I was losing when I last checked, AP had 5 pts, RR had 10 and I was behind by a few points so I figured I lost. This morning I see that I won but AP still only had 5 points. Players do not get points for return yards or touchdowns, but apparently they can lose them on returns. RR fumbled on a punt return and lost the fumblers the game. I guess the team name fits :D Im glad I won (FINALLY!) but that is another rule we need to fix

Change what? That players lose points on fumbles?

It does seem inconsistent. If a player scores a TD on a kick return, the points go to the D/ST, but if that player fumbles on a kick return, the negative points count toward the player?

I don't know if there's any way to change it though, since it doesn't look like there's any category for fumbles for D/ST.

^ Good points. When you have 20 people playing limiting the amount of RB and WRs would be nice. It has been hard to find replacements.

I would like to see special teams plays count twice, once for the player and once for the D/ST.

That way it would be the same as a QB passing to a WR for a TD and they both get points.

I don't think that makes sense. I'd like for individuals to get 'offense' special teams and defense to get 'defense' special teams.

???

Who's not making sense now zipper fairy?

I assume you understand what special teams do.
My point is that if a ST play/score is accomplished by an offensive player, he should ALSO be awarded the points.
That's all. Simple.

From what I understand st points going to defense is standard in ff

And I have no problem with that. I actually like it.

BUT, I would also like the (offensive) player scoring the ST points be individually credited with those points too.

In that way, there would be an additional handful of players (Punt and Kick returners) having some fantasy relevance.
As of right now their relevance is zero unless they are already well established WRs or RBs (which is rare).

I think individuals should get return points and def should get points from blocked kicks/fumbles returned on special teams. Does that make sense?

I hate this waiver priority crap! Every time I try to pick someone up I'm beat out by someone with a higher priority. So I guess I'll just be stuck with a RB and WR on bye as my starters. Have I mentioned I hate FF......and everyone here with a higher waiver priority.

That's a hint right?
Trade proposal sent :D

Did it happen right away - or did you actually submit it before last week was over? I just put in a waiver pick-up (I'm #7) and it will stay pending until Friday morning.

Once the Weds AM waiver pickups happen, anyone who was not picked up is fair game for the rest of the week (for example, Marlon Brown right now)

Anyone who was dropped from a team is on the waiver wire until Friday (for example, Jay Cutler right now). Basically gives everyone a chance to see who was dropped and get their picks in.

EDIT: One thing I don't really understand is how the waiver priority is determined after the Wednesday pickups. Obviously before that it's based on league rank, but not sure what it is now...not that it makes a big difference.

If the #1 waiver team (i.e. ranked 20th in the league) picks up their player of choice, they now have waiver priority #20 and everyone moves up one place.
That gives the 19th ranked team waiver priority #1 and they're next to pick.
If that team doesn't have a waiver request, the next team picks it up.
And so on and so forth. ;)

I put it in Tuesday morning and it got approved today. I assume I had last pick, right? I didn't get anyone good but better than the 4 bye week players I had.

Is Favre's junk-tweeting career finished or not?
We're dying to find out!

NOT!

His statements about the Rams offer make it pretty clear that he is never coming back. Without flat out saying it, he basically said he did not have the ability to play in the NFL the last season he tried.

What about his so called "blacksmith's arms" that his agent spoke about?
