DAMN IT!! I'm in next year. I can't believe I'm just now seeing this on the boards :( I just got through doing the drafts for both my leagues for this year. It wouldn't hurt to add one more league next year :D

Ditto. I have 4 leagues going but a 5th wouldn't have hurt.

Dang, I just joined because its all my buddies from the alchy thread. I might need a fantasy coach.

I'm sure you'll be fine gabe. I had MAJOR wifi Internet problems during the draft so I basically winded up having to scrape together a high risk high reward team. With some high risk low reward players mixed in there haha

no no, you'll do fine gabe :D

I've got a good qb and one good rb, but I'm going to need a breakout season from a wr or two.

idk why you are worried, you have a pretty solid team. Fleener is a guy I woulda picked up, as well as greg little and kenbrell thompkins. you have torrey smith, alfred morris and andrew luck for goodness sake haha with 20 people in a league it is hard to get a superstart lineup but yours in pretty solid, you'll be surprised how many games you win, except vs me :D

haha i know only about half of us take it seriously, no need to make that number seem higher!

First time I've played, but with beer on the line I'm in it to win. I don't think I had the best draft, but I think I did ok.

The larger size league, I dont think anybody really has a huge advantage so it could be tight all season!

It can only get better. Idk who was calling the plays but that was not snyder football. We didnt try to rush the ball once with a te heavy formation, only with 3 or 4 wideouts. Thats not gonna get you anyway unless youre oregan and have incredible speed. We also has bs fouls that were not called, obvious pass interference in the endzone that was not called. Not sure why they started waters either. Hes a hell of a passer but cant scramble worth a crap. Sams can throw and run and hes proved that. I will say im worried about our d this year. Seemed like we were five yards behind every play. Hopefully this was a wake up call for the team and they get their schit together

In K-States defense.. Hey at least they weren't the only FBS team to get beat (at home) by a FCS school! :D

Eastern Wash Eagles beat OSU
Mcneese state beat USF (and beat them big)

My hometown Washington Griz had no problems this weekend :D
By the way App St is moving to 1A next year too... just fyi

______________________________________________

The biggest FCS game of the opening week took place in Missoula, Montana on Saturday night.

The Montana Grizzlies and Appalachian State Mountaineers, two of the most powerful programs year in and year out at the FCS level, chose to meet one last time as FCS foes before App. State moves up to the FBS. In front of over 26,000 fans in an absolutely deafening WaGriz Stadium, Montana showed that it's still one of the elite FCS teams, crushing the Mountaineers 30-6.

QB Jordan Johnson showed that he still has it in his first game back after missing all of last season. He went 19 of 23 for 251 yards and two touchdowns. He never really needed to showcase the running side of his skill set, as the two-headed monster of running backs Travon Van and Jordan Canada combined for 230 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. The Griz defense was stifling, holding App. State to only two field goals.

that doesnt make it easier to take haha It was a rough game for sure. Kinda think they might start playing both QB's but who knows whats gonna happen this year with the offense, doesnt look like normal snyder football

I will say that there were a few positives of the game. One was that we enjoyed Bison for dinner in the new suites :D

Not sure what you know about NDSU but they are a really good football team FCS or not! I would venture to say that they are probably better then 3/4 of the other teams you'll play this season. You know that the last time they lost to a 1A team was in 2008? 4 years in a row now they have beat 1A schools!

From BR-
Two-time defending FCS National Champions North Dakota State once again took down an FBS team, and have now gone four for four against FBS teams in the last four seasons.

After having beaten Kansas, Minnesota and Colorado State, the Bison took down their staunchest opponent yet, defeating defending Big-12 co-champions Kansas State 24-21 on Friday night.

While we're talking about real football, I'd like to mention that the Washington Huskies are my new favorite team.

Who do we hate? Boise State!

As a Vandal alum, all I've got is hating BSU. I-D-A-H-O, back to the Big Sky you must go!

Poor Idaho.. I agreed that they never should have moved up. Although the money is better now :mug:
