Ok new subject, Sanke keg with no retaining ring, snap ring etc. Ended up being threaded, but also had another locking mechanism inside, had to cut the top off by hand instead of using my jig.

box elder bugs all around my hops, turned out to be due to all the maple tree seeds and they are not hurting the hops, though I had to kill them since there were trying to come live inside with me.

still not sure what was eating the hops, but Japanese beetles are getting at them now, haven't found a cure yet.
