Wow the alcohol vapor almost knocks you backwards!! :mug::mug:
Bottling my beer as we speak...

Yep, no matter how many times I've done it... ...I still don't learn! I've got a Two Hearted Ale Clone in my primary right now, and just last night I wanted to smell some of that Centennial Hop Aroma that I love sooo much. I almost fell over when I sucked in all that CO2, SWMBO and my little Daughter were very amused.

When I toured the Samuel Smith's brewery it was an integral part of the tour to get the gullible one to lean over their open fermenters for a big whiff... guess who the gullible one was!

did you ever take chemistry? you should NEVER stick your face inside ANY vessel to smell what was in there. fan the air with your hand towards your face in a diluting fashioned.

i believe WAFTING is the word you're looking for. ;)

Wafting. Sounds like something the duPonts do in the garden of their summer home. Say lovey...how about a bit of croquet when we're finished wafting?

Man, I do that every single time. It gives me that nice nasal burn like fresh wasabi! mmm, CO2 nose burn from fermenter.....
