I gotta clear out some freezer space for the upcoming salmon/moose/bear season here in TKA. What ideas does the consortium have if I told you I have these hops.......

.5 Saaz
.75 goldings
1 mt. hood
3 amarillo
1 magnum
1 fuggles
1 simcoe
2 chinook

I can add/supplement if needed but I need to make a dent. I like everything except stouts/porters and something that complements late summer/early fall. Thanks!!

You could use the fuggles and the goldings and make a mild, use the fuggles as the bittering hop and add the goldings with about 2-3 minutes left in the boil, that could be a pretty good fall beer.

Magnum and Saaz for a Czech Pils, Magnum and Mt. Hood for a German Pils, Chinook, Simcoe and Amarillo for an American IPA, and the Goldings/Fuggles as the previous poster suggested.

Are these lbs or ozs?

Whatever you make, it's not going to make room for much meat.

Suggest: make an APA, around 1.060, us Chinook to get around 60 IBUs, and use the Amarillo for flavor, aroma and dry hop.

Though, now that I think about it, you can use that Simcoe/Amarillo to make an excellent hoppy wheat for summer.
