if so, do they use Nelson Sauvin hops?
I recently tried that beer and picked up the white wine, white grape juice aromas. It was pretty unique.
The reason I’m trying to confirm is because I didn’t care at all for the hops used in that beer. I thought it was bland and didn’t care for the finish. I’ve read the profile for NS hops but have never used them. That aroma and taste was very unique.
Anyways, I recently was brewing a pilz/lager beer and was gonna experiment with NS hops that I’ve had in freezer for a few months but after tasting that beer quickly changed my mind. I ended up using noble hops.
If I can confirm NS hops in Light Me Up Lager, I may have to think hard about how to use in a future batch. So for now I have 4 oz still in my freezer.
Ps- I usually really enjoy Hop Valley beers but this one was dud.
