I just harvested yeast from my hard cider...and there was no seperation between yeast and trub...is this normal...?

Id imagine if you used juice there isn't as much non yeast particles.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Home Brew mobile app

From what I have read....pulling Cider yeast cultures is the easiest and cleanest of them all....as all you have at the bottom is pretty much yeast...

I would imagine that, unless you added malt, wheat, or something else with significant amounts of protein, or unless you hopped it and kept the hop debris in the fermenter, that pretty much everything on the bottom is just yeast.
