Hi folks, I have a question regarding my next project, beer tower cooling fan. I cant seem to find an answer in the archives. I will preface this by saying I am a pretty proficient DIY'er, but not well versed in electrical work. I have a small kegerator with a tower and I need a cooling fan. I have decided that the easiest way is to hardwire it with the fridge so I dont have to worry about turning it on/off, but I'm not sure how to do it. I havent really poked around the back of the fridge yet, but I was looking for advice from you folks before I attempt this. Any advice?
Thanks

One wire of the fan goes to the lead/power supply, one wire goes to the compressor wire on the thermostat. Should go on and off with the compressor. as long as it is a 120v fan. If you are using a 12v fan you will more than likely have to have a seperate power supply such as a cell phone charger, or wireless router power supply.
