I was looking at a hard root beer recipes and they all seem to have tons of ingredients and seem rather lackluster. I was reading about the mountain dew wine:
https://www.homebrewsupply.com/learn/brew-the-dew-mountain-dew-wine.html
And im curious if you just take this recipe and make it into a hard rootbeer. Instead of using mountain dew use mug or a&w rootbeer, flatten it out and use beer yeast. Now im thinking about trying this out but im not sure what yeast to use, id love to use s-05 but not sure its strong enough to tackle it. Didnt really wanna use a sweat mead or wine yeast. Any suggestions?

honestly. no, .. just dont.

if you want hard root beer, do it the right way. Carb up a 5 gallon keg of water, then add sprecher root beer syrup and everclear. seal keg, shake. dispense on tap..
