Hi,
I'm relatively new to brewing.
I've just put together my first hard lemonade, fermenting away now.

I used:
1 Colony West Lemonade Kit
Plus I added, the recommended 1kg caster sugar, and also the juice and zest of 10 lemons, 4 limes, and 5 oranges.

Smells great bubbling away gently.

Interested to know anyone's thoughts?

Cheers :mug:

i'm actually drinking some i made a few months ago at this very moment. my recipe (1 gal) was - 3.5c fresh lemon juice, 1.5lb sugar, top off with water. drop in some raisins and some yeast, let it go to town. OG 1.064, FG 1.006. bottled, it's formed a few bubbles in the glass, but it's not really carbonated. i think i'd put a little less sugar in next time, but it's improved with age.

yours sounds pretty awesome too, let us know how it turns out.

Hi,

Yeah I will let you know.

Its been fermenting for 8 days now, and hasn't slowed any yet.

Smells really nice, obviously smell changing daily.

Cheers,
Thanks for your post.:D
