Hard cider

I have made my first batch 5gallons hard cider, after reading I may of put to much sugar in but it def is good to drink. What I was wondering is how long after bottling will it last. Do I need to keep it in fridge or can I put in closet to let age.

I would let as much of it age as possible. If you want better advise, I would post in the cider forums. Im sure you will have a better chance of the more experienced cider makers seeing this question there.
