Lol.... I'm a baker, I make real 18th century fruitcake, no weird jellied fruit. Just dried figs, apricots, raisins, cranberries and pecans with just enough cake to hold it together. And we soak them with brandy every few days for three weeks......😁 merry Christmas!
 
My gran used to make a fruitcake like that.

We swore if someone lit it on fire it would burn for days.
